Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that India could face serious consequences and become “part of history” if it carries out any future aggression against Pakistan. Speaking during a television interview, he responded strongly to recent remarks made by the Indian Army Chief, saying the comments were aimed at restoring India’s damaged image after the recent military tensions between the two countries.
Referring to Pakistan’s response during “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos,” Asif claimed that Pakistan’s armed forces successfully struck several Indian military targets, which eventually led to a ceasefire agreement. He also stated that changing regional dynamics are strengthening Pakistan’s diplomatic position and influence in the region.
