ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Large Scale Manufacturing Industries (LSMI) recorded a decline of 1.87% in the first half (July-December) of the ongoing fiscal year (2024-25) compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, LSM output dropped by 3.73% in December 2024 compared to December 2023. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, production saw a significant rise of 19.07% in December 2025 compared to November 2024.
The provisional quantum indices for LSMI in November 2024, using 2015-16 as the base year, have been compiled from the latest figures provided by relevant sources.
