Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rs 209 billion in loans have been distributed to 31,700 young entrepreneurs through the Prime Minister Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme over the past eight months.
The initiative provides financial support across three tiers: interest-free loans up to Rs 500,000, loans with a 5% interest rate for amounts between Rs 500,000 and Rs 1.5 million, and loans with a 7% interest rate for amounts ranging from Rs 1.5 million to Rs 7.5 million. These loans are accessible through 15 banks nationwide.
