The Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially allocated the Hajj 2025 flight quota to both national and private airlines, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation for pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia. This allocation reflects a collaborative effort to streamline Hajj operations, accommodating the growing number of Pakistani pilgrims. By including multiple carriers in the process, the government aims to provide greater convenience and options for the traveling faithful.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Saudi Arabian Airlines will lead the operations, with each carrier responsible for transporting over 35,000 pilgrims. Private airlines, including Serene Air, Airblue, and Air Sial, will also play a significant role in managing the remaining load. Serene Air has been allocated 7,000 pilgrims, Airblue 7,380, and Air Sial 3,500. This diversified approach ensures fair distribution of responsibilities among airlines, enhancing the overall experience for Hajj travelers.
To facilitate this massive operation, flights will depart from major cities across the country, such as Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, and Quetta. The inclusion of these hubs ensures accessibility for pilgrims from both urban and rural areas. Additionally, the government has implemented uniform airfare policies for the South and North regions, removing potential financial disparities and ensuring equity among travelers.
The cost of Hajj packages has also been carefully structured to accommodate varying financial capacities. The minimum package starts at $1,000, while the maximum duration package is capped at $800. This pricing strategy balances affordability with quality services, enabling more Pakistanis to fulfill their spiritual journey without undue financial burden.
