Pakistan’s Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem has qualified for the men’s javelin final at the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships with an impressive 86.34m throw on his first attempt. Competing in Group A, his performance secured the top spot in the qualifiers. The final will take place on May 31 at 1:10 PM PKT.
This is Nadeem’s first major international outing since his historic 92.97m gold-medal throw at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Fellow Pakistani athlete Yasir Sultan also made it to the final from Group B with a solid 76.7m throw. Both athletes are part of Pakistan’s five-member team participating in the event in Gumi, South Korea.
