BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), has officially started delivering its electric and hybrid vehicles in Pakistan through its local partner, Mega Motor Company (MMC). The initial batch of deliveries is underway in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with 100 vehicles expected to be handed over within the first 48 hours.
To support its expansion, MMC has set up BYD Experience & Care centers in key cities, providing access to cutting-edge NEV technology along with after-sales services. Additionally, the company aims to establish 15 more centers across Pakistan by the end of 2025, reaffirming its long-term commitment to sustainable transportation.
BYD formally entered the Pakistani market in August 2024 and has since collaborated with MMC for the production, marketing, and distribution of its vehicles. Company representatives highlight this milestone as a significant step toward promoting eco-friendly mobility, further integrating Pakistan into the global EV industry.
