The University of Balochistan has indefinitely suspended all on-campus activities and shifted to online classes, according to a recent notification.
While the university did not provide specific reasons for the decision, Vice Chancellor Zahoor Ahmad Bazai stated that the closure of national highways had made it difficult for students from remote areas to reach the campus.
Although the university had reopened this month, the administration opted for online classes to ensure equal access to education. However, concerns have been raised about limited internet availability in rural areas, which may affect students’ participation.
